Our Christmas Day

This month, in order to prepare our hearts for the coming Savior, Gregory has been leading us in Advent devotionals.  Our theme verse was John 8:12 "I am the light of the world if you follow me you won't be stumbling in the darkness because you will have the light that leads to light."
To kick off our week of Celebrating Christmas we went caroling with some friends at a few local nursing homes and then visiting and hot cocoa afterwards.
Once our preparations on our house, cooking, shopping and packing were done we went to Gregory's parent's house to stay for a few days.  We had wonderful fellowship and playtime there.  We came home on Christmas Eve and opened our gifts on Christmas morning.
Matthew loved his little piano - he always tries to play ours.
Elizabeth loves anything she can snuggle so this horse purse was perfect for her!
She was also very pleased with her new balance bike.
Caleb is ready to build like his big brother, Timothy.
James is always eager for a new game and this one was on his most wanted list - he already has dreams for the sea expansion kit some day.
I sure do love these children and it was so much fun to be able to celebrate Christmas with them!

Thank you God, for the gift of your precious son, Jesus Christ who gave all for us so that we may have life everlasting!!
