Gingerbread Houses

We have been to two different Gingerbread house displays this month.  I am amazed at the creativity and talent people use when making these Gingerbread houses.  This is art people!

 

This one was called Christmas on the Bayou.  The scene was so large it took up an entire wooden pallet.  It was my favorite among this grouping.  



 Just look at that detail! 

 I just love the tire swing!  Makes you just want to jump in there and play.

 Not all gingerbread houses are for gingerbread people.  This one is for a gingerbread dog.

 I just love this gingerbread church!

 James just wanted to eat the gingerbread houses or at least the decor.

 This nativity scene is ingenious!

Maybe next year we can attempt our own gingerbread house again.  For now, we had fun looking at the creativity of others even if it did make us hungry.
