February Mantle

My February decorating turned out to be quite simple, but sometimes simple is best.  Again, I focused on decorating the piano and the mantle since those are in the two highest traffic areas of the house.

On the piano I highlighted Gregory and me since our love began this brood. :)
That small picture on the left was the first photo we had taken together.
Then we have a photo taken of us on our wedding day along with a reminder of what love is.

The flowers were dried from Daddy and Robin's renewal of their vows.
I joked with Gregory that this little white bottle looks like something that love potion #9 would be found in, but he didn't need it to make me love him.
I loved my tree from the January Mantle so much I decided to reuse it again for my heart tree.  We have 7 little hearts on our tree.  One for each member of our family.
This is probably my favorite decoration out of all and may end up being up year round.  Such a good reminder of the ultimate love of all.  Agape love - selfless, sacrificial, unconditional love such as Jesus showed to us.  We can never achieve that type of love unless we allow Jesus to love through us.

May you have a lovely Valentine's Day and experience Agape Love all year!

I John 4:7-8 "Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.  He loveth not, knoweth not God; for God is love."  I John 4:7-8
