My parents came to stay with us for the Fourth of July. We had a wonderful time. Gregory grilled out kabobs and corn. Sharon made star cookies and I made my Mother-in-law's punch bowl cake. It was delicious!
Gregory got a few small fireworks for the children to enjoy. Elizabeth got a duck and a teapot. Her teapot did the best squirting out fireworks everywhere!
She also enjoyed the pop-its we bought. Actually they all did pop-its were everywhere!
The boys all got a tank and a boat. One of the boats really surprised us by shooting stuff straight into the air. Everyone including the adults jumped at that one. Ha ha!
Elizabeth just enjoying the fireworks. She wasn't quite sure what to think about them.
James enjoying the pop-its. That is his tank going off in the front.
Caleb felt it was safest to view the fireworks from way inside the garage. Poor boy. He just didn't want to be too close to the ones making loud noises.
The grand finale. It went over well with a few children. The more cautious ones however were hiding in the garage. All in all it was a lovely day. We had a great time visiting and playing.

Yes, for a non-chocolate dessert it is really delicious. I love fruit in my desserts though and this one has tons. :)
