Punch Bowl Cake Recipe

I had a few requests for the Punch Bowl Cake Recipe so I thought I would post it here.  Enjoy!

Barbara's Punch Bowl Cake
Ingredients: 

·         1 yellow box mix (get the kind with no pudding included)

·         2 (16 ounce) containers of cool whip, thawed

·         Large box of instant vanilla pudding (4.6 ounces size)

·         Bananas

·         Large can (20 ounces) pineapple chunks in a can, drained

·         Strawberries, sliced (I think I got 2, but didn't use them all)

·         Blueberries, large container

·         Lemon juice
Directions:
Bake the cake in 2 round pans.  Cool. Then cut each cake into halves so that you will have 4 round thinner cakes.  Gently fold the dry pudding mix and the cool whip together.  Slice the strawberries and bananas.  After the bananas are sliced put them in lemon juice to avoid browning. 
To Assemble:

To assemble layer cake on the bottom, cool whip mixture and a cup of fruit inside a large punch bowl.   End with fruit on the top making an attractive presentation.  Place the cake in the refrigerator until time to eat.  Enjoy!
