When we moved into this house we decided we wanted all three boys to share a bedroom. It made the transition to our new home much easier. Caleb felt very grown up sleeping in the same room as "the brothers."
We also wanted to decorate it in a real "boy" style. This was actually the first room we painted and we allowed the boys to help paint it. They really loved that and it made it very special to them. We already had the train quilts so that was our inspiration for the colors we chose. 
I have to tell you when Gregory opened that first can of paint we had our doubts about using it, but then halfway through the painting job he decided to use blue above the shelves and it made a huge difference.
Overall, we are very pleased with how well the colors all came together and the boys love their room.
