Museum of the Pacific War

The boys and I went to visit the Museum of the Pacific War today. They loved it! It had tons of artifacts and history about WWII. The boys particularly enjoyed seeing the various models of aircraft carriers. On the outside of the museum they had different types of guns that had been on battleships. There is something fascinating between a boy and a gun. They love to see the various kinds and this museum had numerous types. On my part, I thought the different uniforms worn by the military was quite interesting. It is a very well organized museum and was very enjoyable to attend.
After we toured the museum we visited several of the shops. The boys did a great job of keeping their hands to themselves. Their behavior was exemplary during each shop. One of the storekeepers commented on how well-behaved the boys were being. Then she gave them a package and told them not to open it until they left the store. Imagine our surprise when we opened it and saw this darling little gift!
