James chose fish as his birthday theme this year. We made his strawberry cake together. (Next year though I may skip the cake and just do the icing. That seems to be everyone's favorite part.) Its a good thing we had Peepaw here to check the cake. Gregory and I both missed the fact that I had written Happy 5th Birthday. Peepaw came in and said, "Whose 5?" I tried to convince James to be 5 another year, but he wasn't going for it.

James is Six!
Six years ago today I was blessed to become Mommy. Our sweet baby boy has been a true delight to us. He is a very active boy. We often get the "He's ALL boy!" comment. Our James loves fish, playing outdoors, shooting guns, is an eager learner, and talks frequently.

James received some very nice presents. He got a Science Kit, a navy of wooden boats, some books on his reading level, science dvds and a real live fish. The fish has been named General James and is now comfortably residing in his new home.
He loved all the phone calls from family members. Everytime the phone would ring he would run to the phone to see if it was for him. Most of the time it was. Thanks for helping to make his day special!

I wish he were still 5 too! He grows up SO fast! It's awesome he could read the email all by himself. Can't wait to see him!
