It is that wonderful time of the year when it is neither too hot nor too cold. Saturday was a beautiful, sunny day and the perfect day for a family picnic. There was a sweet couple who opened up their home and shared their horses with us. Timothy was reservedly excited to have the opportunity ride.
James even braved the horse and found it not as intimidating as he originally thought. Caleb however, declined to ride after he attempted to get on the horse. Instead, he chose to run along beside and enjoy watching his brothers.
What a big beautiful smile! Can you see the sparkle in those eyes?
The boys enjoyed two rides around the lake. Once by themselves and once together. Caleb, Elizabeth and I got our exercise by walking around the lake. Oh, but it was a beautiful walk!
Matthew just enjoyed being outdoors. He loves being outside. So much so that he has begun to say "side" whenever anyone looks like they are heading that way.
I'm so thankful that we were able to participate in this fun activity with our horse lover!
