We went to visit the Witte Museum today. They had an exhibit that featured the inventions of Leonardo da Vinci. It was very interesting to see ideas that he had of how things work long before they were able to be put into practice. Leonardo drew all of these inventions, but they had not been built until this exhibit. James and Timothy's favorite three inventions were the tank, crane and the catapult. The tank is the round circular thing in the middle of this picture. With the catapult they were able to attack a pretend castle. It is easy to tell what my boys are interested in. HaHa!
James tried to catch fish in the outdoor touching pool.

Timothy was a weather forecaster. He predicted bad weather.

Caleb was finally able to play on a computer like his big brothers.

We had a great day with lots of play time and we even threw in some learning. :)
