Topsy-Turvy Kingdom

Very rarely do I check out a book from the library and then go to the store to buy it, however this book has such a great message presented in a fun way it is worth the purchase. It is called The Topsy-Turvy Kingdom by Dottie and Josh Mcdowell with David Nathan Weiss.

What a fun book this was to read! It is written in such a style that makes you want to read it again. Which is a big positive for a children's book. In addition to that, this book has a positive message. A King goes away to war. While he is gone all of the laws that the King had set for his kingdom suddenly become topsy-turvy. All the people in the land began to do what was right in their own eyes. Prince Herbie stands up for the laws that had been set. The people don't listen to him until the King returns. The King forgives his people and they have a feast.
