What a joy to have godly men in my life!
Both boys were very excited.
I took shots from the side of the baptistry so the front view is not seen in the above photos. I thought it would be good to have this shot just to remember.
We had several family members and personal friends that were able to attend the church service. Afterwards many of them came to our home to fellowship with us. Peepaw and Meemaw wanted the boys to have something to commemorate their day. So they bought them a special gift and chose a Bible verse from the books of James and Timothy just for them. Then Grandaddy prayed over their lives.
James 1:5 "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." James was given a cross on a chain.II Timothy 3:16-17 "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." Timothy was given a Bible on a chain.

There are actually several people left out of these photos. Gregory's pastor from his home church he grew up in and his wife attended as well as some other close friends. Aunt Jessica and Aunt Leigh Anne were also present as well as Grandma and Meemaw. Somehow they escaped the camera ;) We feel blessed that we have so many people that were able to celebrate our joy with us. We are also thankful for those involved in our lives that pray for our children on a regular basis.
