The Aggressive Lory's

Today we visited the zoo. It was a pretty normal trip to the zoo until we went to see the Lory's. At our zoo you can feed these beautiful birds a cup of nectar. So, we calmly walk in to feed them and immediately we are attacked. A Lory landed on Caleb's(1) head, 3 of them on me, and at least 1 on each of the other boys. James(5) goes to dropping his cup of nectar. Timothy(3) starts crying and spills his nectar all over his clothing. The birds go to scattering even closer because we now have delicious smelling liquid all over us. This in turn scares the children even more. Oh if only I could have had a camera. LOL! I think it will be awhile before the kids ask to go there again.
