Highlights of trip to Aunt Ruth's House

My Aunt Ruth lives 5 minutes from the beach.  Leigh Anne and  I recently took the children to visit with her for a few days.  The children did all kinds of fun things, playing with their cousins, blowing bubbles, swimming at the beach, sliding down an inflatable water slide, eating all kinds of good food and playing on the playground.  It was a fun-packed trip.  Here are some highlights of our visit.

Elizabeth did not enjoy the sand the first day.  In fact, she wouldn't even let me put her down without major tears.  After a few trips she was okay with it and by the last day she was even digging (a little).  Aunt Ruth took James for an early morning walk on the pier and a fisherman allowed him to pull in a catfish. That was thrilling for him.  His favorite part of the beach was inspecting all the creatures that he could find.  The water was secondary fun.  Caleb just enjoyed splashing in every bit of water he could find.  Thanks to Aunt Ruth for a memorable trip!
