Recent Caleb Cuties

Here is a picture of Caleb showing me his age.

Recently Caleb has begun to call James and Timothy the brothers. I just think it is the funniest thing when he says it. The other day he woke up from nap and came to see me. Then the first thing he asked was, "Mom, where are the brothers?" He really looks up to them. They are so sweet to see together.
One of Caleb's favorite things is music. Earlier in the year we attended a parade. There were a ton of marching bands at the parade. He took quite a fascination with the drums and trumpets. He calls the trumpets his doodo dos. He loves to pretend things are trumpets. (Toilet paper rolls are really good for this.) No, Aunt LA this is not an advertisement for a noisy play trumpet. ;)

So the other night we were at church. They had a band playing that night. One of my children got very upset with how loud it was and really looked like he was going to be sick. Not Caleb though he was clapping and very into the music. He probably would have happily stayed for awhile, but I had to leave the room which led to Caleb wanting to be with me.
Today, I was nursing Elizabeth the exact same as I have been doing for the past 2 months. Caleb came up to me, saw me and exclaimed, "Mommy baby's eating you!" He was a bit distressed about it until I told him she was drinking her milk. Then he said, "Oh, she's drinking from your tummy."
Praise God for precious 2 year olds!!
