Its been awhile since I updated this blog. I have been so sick with this little one. I have had hyperemesis (severe nausea and vomiting) with each of my pregnancies, but this one has been so much worse.
I was unable to keep liquids down and so I had to go to the hospital to be re-hydrated. I stayed for 3 days and wasn't getting sick anymore so they sent me home. Once home I was there for 3 days and went back into the downward spiral. A home health care nurse came and attempted to put an iv in me, but was unable to get it started. So, back to the hospital I went. That time I stayed for 2 weeks while they tried various medicines to find something that worked. I got better and was sent home. We thought I was on the road to recovery. Then 3 days later, I went right back into the downward spiral. My Dr. admitted me to the hospital again. As of this current writing I am still in the hospital, but the Dr. is working on a plan to get me home and hydrated while at home.
Good News -
I have had 2 sonograms and baby is doing great. Heartbeat has stayed strong and at around the 160 or 170 mark.
We have been very blessed to have my sister Sharon helping with the children. She put aside her schedule and has been staying at our house. Thanks Sharon!
