Kids Day at Home Depot

The first Saturday of every month our local Home Depot has a kid's day. They provide a craft for the kids to do free of charge. They even give the kids an apron and a little pin to stick on the apron. So, this month our craft was a cute little wooden firetruck. There was even a real firetruck that visited Home Depot. The firemen allowed Timothy to get in the truck and pretend to drive. He didn't stay there long though, the firemen received a call while he was sitting in the driver's seat. That was exciting for everyone because we were able to watch the firemen quickly load up and drive off with their lights going. We also took time to say hello to Homer.Homer insisted Mommy get in the photo as well. Caleb cried when Homer left. He really liked him.
After we left realized that we had left Mommy's purse in the shopping cart. Praise the Lord for honest people. Someone had found it and turned it in to the return desk. The employees that helped me find it were all very kind. I am so thankful God returned my purse to me. That could have been a big mess.
