We consistantly encourage our children to show love to one another.
The other day we went to a Doctor appointment. When the Dr. was done she asked if the kids could have a "pop". (That is a sucker to us southern folks.) Anyway, only the three youngest were in the room. Timothy hesitated a minute and then said. "Well, James is up front." The Dr. assured him that he could pick out one for James too. So, Timothy said, "well, James likes strawberry." He wouldn't choose one for himself until after he had chosen one for his brother. This little gesture was fun to watch especially considering that this particular child has a stronger sweet tooth than his siblings. What a great little man we are raising!
