Decorating

It so describes my recent ideas of trying to decorate our new home. I could never be a fantastic decorator. I seem to lack the vision that so many great decorators have. I admire the ability to see what a room can become as opposed to what it currently is.

So, I have been searching for inspiration. I have recently read 2 of Rachel Ashwell's books about shabby chic decorating, browsed through a few junk to treasure type books and some french country books. Blogs are extremely helpful as well. I love when a blogger shows the steps they took to transform a room.

I am mostly done unpacking all the practical things for our house so now my quest for putting out some pretties is beginning. I hope to show some pictures soon.
