My Helpers

There are many things that have been different about this pregnancy. One good thing that is different is the amount of helpers I now have. My youngest sister has been staying with us for a good portion of this pregnancy. So, of course she is able to do anything that I can do. (Actually in my current condition she can do a lot more than I am able to do.) I'm sure we will miss her a ton when she leaves to go back to college.

I also have some younger helpers in training as well. It is so much fun to watch them learn and develop new life skills. Here are a few pictures of ways they are helping out around the house.

Everyone loves to help bake. Isn't this the best part!
Vacuuming is a big job that each one of them have been learning.

They are each getting quite good at peeling potatoes and carrots as well. Very helpful when making Make Ahead Mashed Potatoes since an entire bag needs to be peeled at a time.

These are just a few ways the boys have been learning to help out. They also pick up their toys, sweep, throw things away (like diapers), put away clean clothing, change bedding, bring in bags from the vehicle, feed the cat, set the table and clear after dinner.

There is a lot of work involved in taking care of a house and I am so thankful for all of my helpers that help me to manage it all.
