Flowers and Mom

My boys are often giving me flowers whenever we go walking. I am frequently the recipient of dandelions and those little white weed flowers. It is one of the ways they show their love for me. I'm not quite sure how it got started, but I cherish the displays of affection.

For Mother's Day this year Timothy planted a Periwinkle for me during Sunday School. He was so proud of it. I have been carefully tending it since then. One day he came into the kitchen while I was watering it. He told me he liked that flower because "it reminded him that he loved me." On our recent trip to visit family Gregory was left behind(someone has to earn the money lol). When I explained to Gregory about the flower I think he was a bit nervous that he may kill it. He said "it represented all the love between me and my middle son."

I am happy to report that the Periwinkle is thriving and doing quite well. I even came home to a clean house. :) Thanks honey!
